| 2 Dead, 28 injured in road mishaps in Jammu | | | Early Times Report

Two persons died while other 28 were injured in different road accidents in Jammu in last 24 hrs in Jammu. The injured have been admitted in GMC&H Jammu.
According to police reports, one truck bearing registration number JK02T/6285 on way from Pathankote to Jammu hit one lady namely Ratno Devi wife of Rattan Chand resident of Pathankote Gurdaspur. Injured was shifted to hospital where she succumbed to his injuries. Driver of the truck was arrested.
In another road mishap one Maruti car bearing registration number JK02V/6192 collided with one truck bearing registration number JK02U/1981 at Jatwal, resulting in injuries four persons, in which one persons namely Kamal Nath resident of Balmiki Chowk Jammu died on spot.
Yet in another accident a video coach bearing registration number UP17C/1632 on way from Katra to Jammu collided with an Army gypsy, resulting minor injuries to three Army personnel. Injured have been shifted to MI Room of Army Hospital.
A Maruti Van bearing registration number JK14/1744 on way from Katra to Jammu rolled down at Kalayard falling under the jurisdiction of police station Jhajjar Kotli, resulting in injuries to three persons. Injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
A vehicle bearing registration number JK14A/6267 on way from Udhampur to Jammu hit one truck near Manthal on National Highway, resulting in injuries to one person. Injured was rushed to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
