| Pensioners welfare association lists demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: A largely attended deputation of J&K pensioners’ welfare forum, Reasi under the leadership of its president, Sohan Lal Sharma met the Add. Dy. Commissioner, Reasi and submitted a charter demands pertaining to the pensioners of the state. The deputationists urged upon the deputy commissioner to bring it into the notice of state government for the solution of these demands which include i. Payment of 6th commission arrears in one installment.
ii. Payment of D.A arrear from January, 2009 to June 2009.
iii. Sanction of 5% DA in favour of the state pensioners
iv. Enhancement of in medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month and medical re-imbursement scheme be made operational in favour of the pensioners and
v Provision of additional quantum of pension after attaining the age of 80,85,90, 95 and 100 above @ 20,30, 40, 50, and 100% respectively be made on the pattern of their counterparts in central government.
