| Subash tours remote areas of Kathua distt | | |

Kathua, Oct 5: President District Congress Committee Subash Gupta MLC toured Kudah, Kanah, Bella and Nichla villages of Kathua district and took stock of the problems of the people. He interacted with the local people and the party works and gave hear to their day to day problems. He also addressed a well attended public meeting at Kudah.
While highlighting the local problem Gupta said that there is a general demand of the locals that a road from Kudah to Rehi via Dange-wali mata and a road from Kudah to Damyal should be constructed. There is a drinking water problem at Knah where three persons were died last year while digging a well. He said that he has provided a hand pump there but it is not sufficient and needs more to be done to over come the drinking water problem. He said that an electric transformed has been installed at Kandayal but it has not been connected with the main line, it should be put into use to improve the power supply to the locals.
