| Top Let Ultra, Woman held in Mansar, arms recovered | | | Early Times Report Srinagar/Jammu Oct 05: Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested a Top LeT commander from Batmaloo area of the city, while Army recovered arms ammunition from a militant hideout in Mansar area of on Srinagar Pathankot road in Samba district of J&K. .Informed sources told Police on specific information about the moment of a top Lashkar commander and his wife who according to police is also an active worker of the out fit, raided at a particular place and arrested both husband commander and his wife. “Acting on specific information Ashiq Hussain alias Umair, District Commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit for Doda was arrested by Srinagar police along with his wife from Batmaloo Srinagar” a police spokesman told NAK claiming, his wife is also an active LeT cadre and moves with her commander husband. He said that the three associates of the arrested LeT commander have also been arrested by the police earlier. Meanwhile, security forces busted a militant hideout ijn Mansar area along Srinagar-Pathankot Highway on Dar Road and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition besides RDX. According to sources security forces on specific information launched a search operation in the forest area of Mansar and recovered arms and ammunition from the militant hide which probably was being used by the militants while enroot to Doda. The recovery includes 4 kilograms of RDX 105 rounds of SLR, one country made pistol and a pithu bag loaded with incriminating documents and other food material which was destroyed on the spot
