| Keep away from India’s internal affairs, JKNPP asks OIC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5- Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) state president and MLC Balwant Singh Mankotia has asked the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to keep away from India’s internal affairs.
He said JKNPP will not let OIC special envoy to visit Jammu and Kashmir and will launch a protest against the OIC.
Talking to media person here today, Mankotia said ‘Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) has no locus standi or competence to interfere in the domestic affairs of India of which J&K forms an integral part historically, constitutionally and legally’.
He endorsed the condemnation of the OIC by the party Chairman, Prof Bhim Singh and urged Government of India to use all its diplomatic sources to shut the busy bodies in the OIC who have been playing in the hands of Anglo-American Bloc for decades.
The Panthers Party also welcomed protest by the Central Government against the OIC statement though it needs a stronger condemnation of the OIC which has been ill-informed about the constitutional status and situation of J&K which is as good part of India as Jerusalem is part of Palestine, Riyadh is a part of Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan is a part of Egypt.
‘Jammu and Kashmir is not Islamic problem and the people of Jammu and Kashmir had rejected the two-nation theory in 1947 so OIC should keep distance from India’s internal issue’, Mankotia said.
He said the party has issued a directive to its cadre to organize protests against the OIC leadership condemning their unholy and CIA backed and senseless declaration that the OIC has appointed a special envoy to Jammu and Kashmir.
Mankotia announced that JKNPP will not allow OIC special to visit in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and announced to hold protest against OIC in front of UN Office in Jammu on October 7.
The Panthers Party has also appealed the OIC countries to dissociate themselves from the pro-American agenda.
