New Officers deliver guidance lecture for IAS, KAS apirants

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 07-In order to provide quality information and knowledge based education to the new generation particularly who desire to compete for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) and other competitive examinations, the Minister for School Education and Public Enterprises Mr. Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. Khursheed Ahmad Ganie, Director Information and Public Relations, Kh. Farooq Ahmad Renzu, SP Traffic Mr. Showkat Ahmad at an impressive function held at Polytechnic college today delivered their key note speeches. The function was organized by Kashmir Socio Academy.
The Chief organizer of the Academy Mr. Omar Tramboo welcomed the chief guest and other speakers.
The Minister for School Education and Public Enterprises while speaking on the occasion underscored the need of social organizations to bring in social and moral awareness among the masses. The Minister said that J&K has no dearth of talent but have to explore it through education as it is the channel through which the needs of body, mind and spirit are fulfilled. He emphasized that every child requires right kind of awareness for achieving skill upgradation and the means to contribute towards the socio-economic development of the people.
Peerzada stressed for sharpening the skills of the students, saying that such organization will be provided the necessary assistance in their mission for the betterment of the students.
Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Khursheed Ahmad Ganie in his address stressed for proactive approach to excel in the national level competitive examinations. He said “By studying ahead of others and studying more than others” are the only ways to achieve success in the competitive exams.
Mr. Ganie advised the aspirants not to manipulate but to study from cover to cover and concentrate on the studies. He said, capacity to work hard is imperative to achieve the selected goals.
Director Information and Public Relations, Khawja F. Renzu while speaking on the occasion urged the aspirants to have such skills which will enable them to excel and exhibit their talent. He asked the students to utilize fully their grey matter to achieve their dream of success. He said in present scenario of development and all-round progress it is necessary that new generation should be determined to face all competitive challenges as Jammu and Kashmir state particularly Kashmir has all along been epitome of intellect and new generation has to prove the same.
S.P.Traffic Mr. Showkat Ahmad highlighted the significance of traffic awareness among masses on the occasion.
Later, the Minister distributed awards among the representatives of various institutions.
