| Drabu presents dividend cheques to CM | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 07 – The Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Dr. Haseeb Drabu today presented two cheques worth Rs. 43.56 crore to the Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah as dividend for the year 2008-09.
The commissioner Secretary, Finance, Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey and officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank were present on the occasion.
&n bsp; Dr. Drabu while giving resume of the activities of the Bank said that since the inception of the Bank the cumulative dividends paid to the State Government are to the tune of Rs. 243.25 crore. The total dividends paid by the Bank to its share holders since the inception of the Bank amount to Rs. 419.53 crore. The dividends declared for the year 2008-09 are of the order of 81.93 crore and the percentage of the dividend paid is 169.
