| CM meets Governor | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, OCT 7: The Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah, called on the Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here this afternoon.
The Governor and the Chief Minister discussed various important issues relating to the socio-economic development and security of the State, during their meeting lasting for an hour and a quarter.
The Chief Minister, interalia, briefed the Governor about the recently concluded District Development and Planning Board meetings chaired by him, the outcome of his meeting with the high level Central Team led by the Cabinet Secretary, issues relating to the Prime Minister’s Reconstruction Programme Phase II, elections to Panchayats and urban local Government bodies and other matters. He also apprised the Governor in regard to the evolving approach to exploitation of power resources and other development projects
