Haj pilgrims imparted training

POONCH, OCTOBER 08 - As many as 288 Haj pilgrims including 48 women intending to perform Haj-2009 from Poonch district were imparted necessary training here today. Out of these, 92 Haj pilgrims of Mendhar tehsil were imparted training in their respected tehsil. Others including 79, 78 and 39 Haj pilgrims from Surankote, Haveli and Mandi tehsils respectively were imparted orientation training at Poonch.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Syed Anwar Hussain Shah was the chief guest. ACD Poonch Mr. Mohammad Salim Malik also attended the function.

Well learned in Islamic literature and expert in performing Haj duties Dr. Mohammad Ismail and Master Mohammad Akram imparted the training to the intending Haj pilgrims.

Participants were told that necessary vaccination programme would also be carried out for all the pilgrims soon and its schedule would be communicated to district administration by Central Haj Committee.
