SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 08- Minister for Technical Education, Medical Education and Youth Services and Sports, Mr. R. S. Chib has stressed upon teaching fraternity to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their complete physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of the local national and international communities, in addition ensuring their academic excellence.
The Minister was addressing valedictory function of the J&K State’s Bharat Scouts and Guides (JKSBS&G) at Green valley Education Institute here today.
MLA, Hazratbal, Dr. Mustafa Kamal, Director Youth Services and Sports, Mr. G. M. Dar, State Chief Commissioner, JKSBS&G, Mr. N. A. Khan, Deputy Director Sports, Kashmir, Mrs. Gulshan, Chairman of the Institute, Mr. Mohammad Yousuf and Principal of the School, Prof. Ghulam Nabi were present on the occasion.
Lauding the role of JKSB&G in inculcating the scouting spirit amongst the students and youth, Mr. Chib said that it was the need of hour to support the scout movement, hoping that the sprawling campus and sports infrastructure would help in producing future sports stars.
