| Canara bank opens branch at Bari Brahmana | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 8: A new branch of Canara bank, was opened at Bari Brahmana by its deputy general manager RR Sharma today. While inaugurating the branch Sharma said 55 new branches of the bank have been opened throughout the country, and with opening branch here is the ninth (9) branch in the state of J&K. Sharma said Bari Brahmana branch is having all special facilities to cater the needs of SME clients of the region. He said bank has launched special festive scheme names as ‘Savings Utsav’ in which special facilities are being offered for opening new saving account with the bank. He also informed that the bank is having a grand expansion plan and will reach 3000 plus branches by March 2010. While in Jammu and Kashmir bank is having special focus and is soon going to open another branch at Udhampur. On this occasion Shrawan Kumar PK Batra, divisional manager, Sandeep Gupta, manager of Bari Brahmana branch thanked all the guest for the cooperation extended.
