| Zulfikar demands relief to hailstorm affected farmers | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Oct 8- MLA Darhal and senior PDP leader Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali has demanded relief to the farmers of his constituency whose maize and paddy crops suffered damages due to the hailstorm that lashed the area on October 4.
While conducting extensive tour of his constituency Zulfikar observed that the people of his constituency in general and village Peeri in particular have suffered a huge loss due to hailstorm that lashed throughout the region on October, 4. The approximate loss suffered by the farmers is not less than 100%, he said and urged the District administration to constitute special team of officers to assess the actual loss. He demanded grant of requisite relief in proportion to the loss suffered by the farmers immediately
