| Come out with a comprehensive employment policy: PDP to Govt. | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 8- Peoples Democratic Party today urged upon the coalition Government to come out with a comprehensive employment policy rather then adopting fractured and half- hearted measures. This was stated by PDP General Secretary Thakur Balbir Singh here at Party Headquarters during a function organized to welcome some new faces from Jammu in the Party folders. The function was presided over by Party Youth wing President Bashir Assad. PDP leaders said that PDP led coalition Government had decided to create an overseas employment agency in 2004 to provide employment to the educated un-employed Youth in foreigner particularly Gulf countries that idea should be taken forward to overcome the un-employment problem. PDP leaders said that there should be a proper mechanism to guide the Youth of the State to stand on their feet. Expressing their reservations over the functioning of the District employment exchange offices the PDP leaders urged for brining transparency in registration of educated youth. Those who joined the party included Rakesh Zutshi, Rajeev Arora Arun Sharma, Jagjeet Singh. Mohammed Asif, Mohammed Arif Mohammed Younis,Rajeev Sharma, Amit Dhar and Mohammed Khalil.
