| RIK condemn linking of employment package with return | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 9: The J&K Government must extend confidence building measures (CBM) to internally displaced Kashmiri Pandits (KP) prior to devising any module for return, said Veer Saraf, convenor Roots in Kashmir (RIK) at a press conference here today. Saraf said CBM must included immediate implementation of employment package announced by Prime Minister reservation of seats for KP’s in assembly and parliament, passing of temple and shrines bill and not to link employment package with return to valley. He also demanded special age relaxation of ten years to KP youths so they can become eligible for Government job or one time package of Rs 25 lakh to start his own business. He said RIK rejects the offer of Rs five lakh offer for un-employed which is very little sum. Saraf also demanded immediate enhancement of relief to Rs 100 per soul per day and not Rs 33 given at present. He said that in case no favourable outcome is there with regard to launch agitation. Saraf further said, RIK has decided to honour Ms Rukhsana for her exemplary courage in killing dreaded terrorist on September 28 at Rajouri. Among other present at press meet were Ashok Bhat, Aryan Ramesh, Vinod Bhat, Sunil Shah, Rakesh Koul, Vishal Koul, Sunny Raina and Bansi Bhat.
