LJSP criticizes govt for its attitude towards striking employees
10/9/2009 10:55:15 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 9: The Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) state working president Sanjeev Manmotra and spokesman K.K Rao expressed deep anguish over the silence and negligible attitude of state govt. towards the striking workers of Junior Doctors, SRTC, Anganwadi Workers and home guards. They said general public is suffering due to the strike of these employees. They urged to the chief minister to intervene personality in the interest of general public who are suffering due to this strike.
As per press release they also demanded immediate registration of FIR against all the concerned police officers who are responsible for death of Rajnish Sharma. The whole proceedings of arrest and death in police custody appear to be suspicious. They alleged and also demanded transparent inquiry into the custodial death of Jammu based youth in Srinagar. This episode has again exposed the working of police to great extent.
