| Awareness campaign on NREGS | | |
DODA, Oct 9- A legal literacy and awareness campaign, first of its kind in the district, was held here today ion the premises of BDO office under the chairmanship of Sub Judge Bhaderwah Madan Lal .
During the campaign the speakers had detailed deliberations over various aspects of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and called upon the rural masses to take full advantage of the schemes aimed at the welfare and socio-economic transformation of rural masses.
It may be recalled that in Bhaderwah block over 70 percent workers under NREGS are women.
The awareness camp was attended by a large number of people including women besides Sarpanches, Panches and several political leaders.
