| Suspended SSP, SI file bail applications | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 09-The suspended SSP Jammu S Manohar Singh and former Sub Inspector of Police station Gandhi Nagar Satnam Singh, allegedly involved in fudging the weapon of offence in the much publicized murder of Amandeep Singh, filed their bail applications in the Court of Special Judge Anticorruption on various grounds.
Special Judge Anticorruption, after hearing Advocates DS Chouhan, PN Raina and Anupam Raina appearing for the petitioners, has directed the Chief Prosecuting Officer to produce the report from the SIT P/S Gandhi Nagar and the file with objections on September 13, 2009.
Meanwhile Sultan Mirza, field another bail application in the Court of Principal Sessions Jammu, for his release from the police custody as he has been arrested in the case Fir No 247/2009 u/s 302/34/201/120-B RPC and r/w section 3/25 Arms Act.
The Sessions Judge, after hearing Advocate OP Sharma along with Advocates Rajneesh Oswal and Rohit Sharma appearing for the petitioner, directed the respondents to produce report tomorrow. JNF
