| Javed Iqbal joins PDP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct10- Eminent social worker and retired Executive Engineer Javed Iqbal Zargar of Bhaderwah today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in presence of senior party leaders.
Party general secretary Th Balbir Singh, Sayed Asgar Ali, MLC, Rehmat-ullah Malik, Abdul Rehman Wani and other senior leaders of PDP were present when Zarger joined the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Zarger said that he has decided to join this party due to its policies and programs. He said since its formation PDP has been pursuing the pro-peace and pro-people agenda in the State and it is high time to strengthen this party in all regions of the state, he added.
Welcoming Zargar in the PDP, Sayed Asgar Ali hoped that with his joining PDP would be strengthened in erstwhile Doda district. He said that many right thinking people have been coming forward to join this party which has been emerged a biggest political force.
