| Coalition’s wrong policies compounding woes of common masses: Youth PDP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 10-Youth Wing of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today decided to aggressively launch a campaign to educate the masses about pro-peace and pro-people policies being propagated by the party. It has also decided to expose the anti-people policies of the National Conference-Congress regime compounding miseries of the poor people all over the State.
While addressing a meeting of the party workers here today, state president of youth wing of PDP Bashir Asad stressed on the need of educating the masses about Self-Rule proposal of the party. He exhorted the party workers to remove the misconception created by certain vested interests and said that Self-Rule document prepared by the party was the only solution which would address internal and external dimensions of Kashmir problem.
Reiterating PDP’s commitment to provide justice with all regions and sub-regions of the State, PDP youth wing president pointed out that Self-Rule document also advocates empowerment of all regions of the State. He especially mentioned that the Self-Rule document has suggested creation of regional councils for different regions.
Coming down heavily on State Government for its failure to solve problems of educated unemployed youth of the State, PDP youth wing president demanded stipend for the educated unemployed youth. He reminded that during campaign of Assembly elections National Conference had promised to give stipend to the unemployed youth but after attain power the ruling party has not taken any step in this regard.
Demanding a comprehensive employment policy to solve the problem of unemployment in the State, the party demanded setting up of overseas employment exchange to create job avenues for the youth abroad.
