| PSSU organizes cricket tournament | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 10: A cricket tournament was organized by the Pahari speaking students union (PSSU) at the university sports grand here today. The purpose of the match was to prepare youth against drug abuse.
President of PSSU, Qadar Khan welcoming the chief guest, RS Chib minister for youth services and supports appealed that the long pending demand of ST status of Phari people be fulfilled. He also appreciated chief minister Omar Abdullah’s decision in granting two central universities for the state and demanded similar bold decisions for Pahari’s. Chib in his address assured full support and promised union that their matter will be taken at priority. He also promised to provide sports facility for boys at Pahari hostel Jammu. Virender Singh Chib, Mohinder Paul, Vikas Sharma also spoke on the occasion. Others present on the occasion were Ashu Kumar, Wahid Khan, Javed Malik and Tanveer Ahmed.
