Court awards three years RI to accused facing trial in theft cases

Jammu, October, 01-
Judicial Magistrate Samba Mr. Rajesh Kumar Abrol awarded three years rigorous imprisonment to Vinay Kumar Tiwari s/o Shiv Kumar Tiwari r/o Ganeshipur District Kanpur (UP), was facing trail for stolen Indica Car and golden ornaments from the house of complainant Hem Raj r/o Bari-Brahamana on June 11, 2006 In the judgment Mr. RK Abrol after hearing Sr. Prosecuting Officer appearing for the state and accused in custody observed that offence against accused is established beyond any shadow of doubt as such the accused is convicted and sentenced u/s 380 RPC to undergo three years RI.
According to the police case, on a complaint was lodged on June 11, 2006, the police recovered the stolen items from the possession of the accused and after completion of the investigation presented Challan in the Court on July 17, 2006. Court completed the trial with in less than two months and convicted the accused on September 30, 2006.
