| Vet doctors demand rectification of SRO-93 | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 10: The veterinary doctors association have expressed their serious concern over the delay by the government in bringing doctors of veterinary wing from pay band 2 to 3 by rectification of SRO-93. Addressing the members of the association its president Dr. MT Krishan in a meeting said the association has a gain made it clear that the posts carrying pay or scale of pay with a maximum of not less than Rs. 13,500 fall in the group A category and as per the 6th pay commission pay conversion table, all the group A category posts are placed in pay band 3, throughout India. Unfortunately under SRO-93 dated April 15, 2009, the group A entry grade of Rs. 8000-13500 has been revised to PB-2 instead of PB-3, against the conversion table of 6th pay commission, which has shocked all the doctors of veterinary win. He said association has appealed to chief minister to look into the matter personally to get the matter rectified without further delay. The members who attended the meeting were Dr. RK Anand, general secretary, Dr. Mohd Sajjad, publicity secretary, Dr Majid Malik treasurer, Dr. Chand Kishore Bakshi, Dr. Sayeed Zafar Ahmad etc.
