| Release pending cola, demands PSU employees | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 10: The executive body of J&K state central labour union has urged upon the government to release the pending cola of public sector employees hold for the last four year. President who chaired the meeting of the union, said that conversion of cola into DA has already been agreed by the state government and lot of people work has already been done by the government. Members in the meeting thanked chief minister Umar Abdullah, finance minister, Abdul Rahim Rather and minister for industries and commerce, SS Slathia for extending the benefits of 6th pay commission of PSU employees. It was further resolved in the meeting that to make a fervent appeal to chief minister and his cabinet colleagues for release of pending COLA and conversion of COLA into DA on the eve of coming festival of Diwali so that common masses heave of sigh of relief and celebrate the festival with joy. Jagmohan Sadhotra, Sanjeev Bali, Pardeep Mehra, Swarn Singh Chib, Baldev Raj, Karan Singh, MS Gupta and Kuldip Sharma etc attend the meeting.
