JAMMU, OCTOBER 10–
Two day Exhibition on “ Harmony …unveling the magic in Unity “organised by the INIFD was today inaugurated by the Minister for sports , Medical and Technical Education R.S Chib.
Speaking on the occasion, Chib appreciated the creative endeavours of the talented designers and said that such programmes provide a launching platform for the students. He said that the theme chosen by the institution is apt and projects the basic strength of our nation and its unique character amidst its vast diversities of language, culture and religion. He exhorted the students to strive in the direction of preserving and promoting the harmony in the country.
The minister said that the youth should aim at wholesome development of their personalities and create a niche for themselves in any professional fields they choose. He asked them to contribute to the overall growth of the society by channelizing their potential in the right direction.
He stressed on exploring new career options which enhance the employability of the youth and provide them ample opportunities to show their creativity and imagination. He said that fashion is a vast field which can absorb young talent of the state, he lauded the role of INIFD in providing placements to the students in various organizations.
