| Air Force Station organizes Run for Fun | | |

On the occasion of the Indian Air Force Day Celebrations, a cross country event “Run for Fun’ was organized at the Air Force Station, Udhampur today.
Station Commander, Air Force Station Udhampur, Group Captain PM Vithalkar flagged off the cross country run from Air Force Station Sports ground. In his inaugural address, Group Captain PM Vithalkar, appreciated all the participants and emphasised the importance of such sports activities as it helps in developing togetherness, camaraderie, team spirit and physical fitness. He also complimented all personnel of the Station for their wholehearted effort and for their high spirit to make this event a great success.
A total of 850 personnel, including serving personnel, ladies and children took part in the event. People from all walks of life turned up in large numbers to encourage the participants.
On completion of the event, prizes were also distributed to the winners in their respective categories.
