| British national among four killed in road accidents | | |

Four persons including a British national were killed and about two- dozen sustained injured in separate road accidents.
A Police spokesman said that two British nations namely Owen Terrence and Holy Carolline who were riding on a motorcycle met with an accident when an Auto load carrier NO JK02AA/3405 hit them near Bus stand Samba this morning resulting on the spot death of Owen Terrence.
In another incident Rehkha Sharma @ Sonien daughter of Rampaul of Arri Mendhar sustained multiple injuries when a Maruti car in which he was traveling in rolled down at Badhoon under jurisdiction of Rajouri Police station. The girl was shifted to Rajouri Hospital but succumbed to her injuries on way.
Raju Sambyal son of Padam Dev Singh Sambyal who was traveling in a Maruti van met with an accident with a speedy truck coming from the opposite direction at Barwal morh Kathua resulting into serious injuries. He was rushed to Kathua hospital where he succumbed to his injuries this evening.
The Police have taken both the Driver and the conductor of the Truck into their custody and registered a case against them.
Eighteen passengers got injured when a matador in which they were traveling in rolled down at Purkho last night while an unidentified body was brought to GMC Hospital.
