| Police and administration has to face acid test in ‘Rajneesh’s death case: Arora | | | Early Times Report Jammu Oct 10 The police and administration has to pass acid test as it is the question of credibility of an institution of police which is required to be resorted at all costs which was shacked during recent days after the alleged custodial death of Rajneesh Sharma who was cremated today after three days, said BJP State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora (Adv.). In his statement Arora said the people of Jammu will be satisfied only if proper FIR is registered at Jammu against all the concerned to establish that no one is above law. ‘Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said in public that he will not discriminate Jammu and Kashmir and his working will be transparent. One fails to understand that why he has not expressed his concern over the incident which apparently is a cold blooded murder, he said and added, “as the compensation and service only is not sufficient to justify the killing of any innocent.’ Ramesh Arora further said that the girl is major and false case was registered at Srinagar by the family members showing her as minor. Divisional Commissioner was asked to procure report of medical board immediately and the case be registered under section 302 RPC. Ramesh Arora said that magisterial inquiry order is not acceptable as the concerned magistrate is from Srinagar where the family cannot go and cooperate rather it will be an eye-wash only. Lip sympathy will not serve any purpose if some affective decisions are not taken by the government, he concluded.
