| 5 killed 35 inured as Matador plunges into Nallah | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 10: At least five persons including two infants and a woman were killed, while thirty five others were injured 12 of them critically, when a Matador they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunges into a Nallah at Choutha village in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. The ill fated Matador (JK02H-9632) was on its way to village Mandian from Samba when it met with an accident. Informed sources told that five people including two infants died on the spot and thirty five others were injured 12 of the critically, while another succumbed on way to Hospital. Soon after police received information about the accident reached the spot and retrieve the dead and injured with the help of locals. Sources said that the driver of the Matador failed to control the vehicle when its break went out of order and then rolled down into the Nallah resulting into the on the spot death of four persons and injuries to 35 others. Twelve critically injured have been shifted to Government Medical College Jammu for specialized treatment and others are undergoing treatment at Sub District Hospital Samba. Another critically injured succumbed to his injuries while on way to Hospital, while the condition of three critically injured was stated to be serious. The identification of the deceased is yet to be ascertained
