| Another cease fire violation, three militants killed | | | Early Times Report

Alert troops today foiled a major infiltration bid near the Line of Control (LoC) in Gurez sector when they gunned down three heavily armed militants.
The operation in the woods near the LoC was going on when the reports last came in, a Defence Ministry spokesman told .
He said troops guarding the borders noticed a group of heavily armed militants sneaking into this side from the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) in Gurez sector early this morning under the cover of darkness.
When challenged and asked to surrender, the militants opened fire.
The fire was returned and two militants were killed.
