Jammu, Oct 11- The OBC’s in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Madan.Lal Kashyap, former member State Commission for Backward Classes has demanded representation in the draft committee constituted by the Government for separate advisory board for upliftment of OBC, Social castes.
The meeting discussed the problems confronting the community and demanded enhancement in reservation to 10per cent from the existing 2 percent and implementation of the recommendations of the High power committee which has already been approved by the state cabinet on November 16, 2007.
Prof. Sukhdev Singh, Prof.B.L.Bhardwaj, Rakesh Kashyap, R.l. Charotra, Madan Lal Basotra, Abdul Ganai , Abdul Qadir , Suchet Singh, Puran Chand Chargotra, Romesh Angotra, Sain Dass, Shyam Lal, Joginder Angotra and Om Prakash were present at the present.
