| 5 receive burn injuries, truck damaged in fire in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 12 Five people received burn injuries and a truck was damaged in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said here today. Police reports said a group of boys were bursting crackers at Kreshbal in Noorbagh area of down town city when a packet of crackers suddenly caught fire. Three boys Danish Ahmad Dar, Hilal Ahmad Rather and Bilal Ahmad Rather were injured, who were later hospitalized. A shopkeeper and his son received burn wounds when a gas cylinder exploded in the shop at Qamarwari in the down town. Both the injured were admitted to SMHS hospital. They said a truck loaded with dry grass caught fire at Khumani Chowk Bemina in the city outskirts, damaging the vehicle. Driver and others however escaped unhurt in the incident, they said.
