| PSO commits suicide | | |

A personal security officer allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Kathua district, police said today.
Constable Kuldeep Kumar, who was on leave to attend the marriage of his brother in his native Kandarnu village in the district, shot himself dead last night.
After hearing the gun shot, the family members rushed to the room and took him to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said, adding the reason behind the suicide is not known.
He was working as a PSO of an Additional Superintendent of Police.
Police has registered a case.
