| Rising Star Corps organizes ‘Cutting Edge -2009’ Seminar | | | Early Times Report

The Cutting Edge -2009 a two day communication and IT Seminar has been organized by the Rising Star Corps at Pathankot from today. Aims of the seminar is aimed at providing a suitable platform for deliberate and structured user industry interaction to explore viable technology solutions for customizing robust Communication and IT systems for the field forces.
General Officer Commanding Raising Star Corps who was the chief guest on this occasion inaugurated the seminar in which eminent speakers from the industry and the Defence forces will present papers and deliberate on various issues relevant to the Army. An Exposition is also being organized as a part of the Seminar,, at the venue, wherein representatives of the industry would be displaying their products and systems. The focus of the Exposition would be to enhance the technological threshold and come up with communications and IT solutions for the field formations and units in the Tactical Battle.
A large number of military & Civil dignitaries including PBOR attended the inaugural event.
