| Pathania selected for best citizen award of India | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 12- R. S. Pathania Advocate hailing from Majalta Tehsil of Udhampur district has been selected for “Best Citizens’ of India” award by “Best Citizens Publishing House” which is compiling a book titled as “Honoured Best Citizens of India” reflecting the feats and achievements on outstanding personalities of India having performed spectacular achievements in their respective areas/fields of activity. The award shall be in the form of eye-catching wooden plaque and a citation. The select list of the awardees included Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh, former Governor, S. Joginder Singh, former C.B.I., Director, G.V.G. Krishanamurthy, former Chief Election Commissioner, N.C. Suri, former Air Chief Marshal, Feroz Kudianwala and Hafiz contractor noted architects, Lord Swaraj Paul N.R.I., Amar Singh, M.P. & Samajwadi Party general secretary, Smt. Soumitra Singh, Speaker, Rajasthan Assembly, Dr. Raghubir S. Kudian, Speaker, Haryana Assembly, Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chief Cardiovascular Surgeon & Dr. Deka Dean A.I.I.M.S.
Pathania, distinction-holder graduate from GGM Science College Jammu, completed his LL.B. from University of Jammu in the year 2003 with distinction in two subjects – Constitutional Law and Practical Training & Moot Courts. He led Jammu University in numerous moot-trial competitions, debates and seminars within and outside J & K and brought laurels to it.
While practicing law at J & K High Court at Jammu, he has made the best out of the numerous opportunities of arguing civil, criminal and constitutional matters in the J & K High Court. He is accredited to have dealt with briefs of prestigious cases pertaining to Siddhra land scam and B. Ed Colleges scandal in the Supreme Court of India.
