| JMC health, sanitation committee hold meet | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 12: Keeping in view the ensuing festival of Diwali and keeping the entire city clean and checking of eatables a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Satish Sharma, chairman public health and sanitation standing committee of the Jammu Municipal Corporation here today. Meeting was told that well before Diwali festival all the milk products including sweets will be checked. If any body found have adulterated the food item will be punished under law plus all items will be destroyed on spot, even licence may be cancelled. It was also decided that sanitation drive will be launched within JMC limits. Wages of temporary daily wagers and permanent daily wagers will be made through bank. The meeting among others was attended by commissioner JMC and ex-chairman’s of the public health sanitation committee.
