| Army jawan ends life | | |

In yet another incident an army jawan ended his life by committing suicide at a military camp near here, late last night.
Official sources said that the jawan, identified as Naik Manpanai of 17 RR, was killed when he shot himself with his service weapon at Gund army camp, near here. The jawan, sources said, was sitting in his room after returning from guard duty and suddenly he took the weapon and shot himself to death.
Hearing the gun shots the army personnel rushed to the room and found the jawan in pool of blood, sources said and added that he was shifted to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The reason behind the suicide could not be ascertained immediately, however, police said it has registered an FIR and started investigation. |
