| Editors conference to begin tomorrow in J-K | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 12 A conference of editors on social and infrastructure issues with focus on Jammu and Kashmir will be held here on Oct 13 and 14.
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni is likely to inaugurate The All India Editors Conference being organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), officials said.
Senior officers of key ministries including Home, Tourism, Minority Affairs, and New and Renewable Energy will address the conference, being held for the third time.
The officials said each session will begin with an opening statement by the Union minister concerned and be followed by background discussion and a question-answer session.
The conference will enable editors to get a detailed background of government policies and programme in the areas of social and economic development and provide a platform for interaction with ministries and senior officers.
