| Chairman inaugurates banks extension counter at Jatwal | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Oct 13: Chairman Jammu Central Cooperative Bank Limited, (JCCBL) Mohinder Singh inaugurated extension counter of the bank at Jatwal district Samba today. Speaking on the occasion he said that this is the 13th extension counter of the bank. He said that bank is already having a network of 66 branches in whole of Jammu province catering to the need of the bank’s clientele particularly farming community in the far flung areas. He further said that the total deposits of the bank as on date have crossed the figure of Rs. 800.00 crores extension counter at Jatwal will cater to the need of about 20 to 25 villages adjoining the area, he said and added that bank has already received an approval from the registrar cooperative societies, J&K for conversion of four of its extension counters already existing, into full-fledged branches of the bank, which the bank is going to covert very shortly.
He said as and when the deposits of this extension counter cross the figure of Rs. 1.50 crores, the extension counter shall be converted into full-fledged branch. It may be mentioned that on the inauguration day itself the deposits of the extension counter were to the tune of Rs. 7.00 lacs.
The function was also attended by Durga Dass, MLA Hiranagar, Prem Lal, Subash Chander, MLC Hiranagar, Angrezu Ram Sharma, Joginder Singh, Arun Bakshi, Managing director of JCC Bank and other senior officers of the bank were also present on the occasion.
