Early Times Report
Rajouri Oct 13
Saying democracy doesn’t mean government of particular voters, Vivodh Gupta, BJP State Secretary and Yogesh Sharma District President have alleged that the elected representative is biased on developmental issues.
Speaking in the press conference at Hotel Pir Panjal, Rajouri, the Gupta highlighted the indifferent attitude of the MLA Rajouri (MOS) Sahabir Ahmed Khan toward the constituency from which he has won elections.
He said that democracy doesn’t mean government of particular voters, but the manner in which the minister of state Shabir Khan has acted is very much untoward. ‘MLA stopped the digging of bore well at Muradpur, tehsil Rajouri and also sanctioned various developmental schemes in the areas in which he got more votes. This has reflected his vision of democracy, he said.
Gupta further highlighted that if such attitude as has been reflected by Shabir Ahmed Khan in stopping the work of digging of bore well at Muradpur which was sanctioned by Minister for PHE, continues there is no other alternative left for the people except to come on the roads for getting their demands fulfilled. BJP leaders asked the Minister of State to refrain from repeating such acts in order to avoid public agitation.
Speakers also alleged that that out of 22 works sanctioned in district Rajouri, not even a single work has been considered from Rajouri to Doongi as the MLA Rajouri got less votes from this belt.
The attitude of the Minister of State Shabir Khan is nothing but is a trailer for his next 5 years as it is a fact that coming events cast their shadows, lamented Yogesh Sharma.
