Jammu, Oct 13- In a contempt petition filed by Raghubir Singh Kohli and others, Justice JP Singh of J&K High Court Jammu wing today issued bailable warrants in the amount of Rs 10,000 against AH Kochak Principal Secretary Law Department for securing his presence in the Court of on November 16, 2009.
While issuing bailable warrants, Courtobserved that respondent was allowed six weeks final opportunity to report compliance of the directions issued by the Court, failing which the Principal Secretary Law was directed to appear in person. Neither the compliance has been reported, nor anyone has put in appearance in compliance to the order passed on August 28, 2009, respondent Principal Secretary Law, too, has opted not to appear in person as directed. Under these circumstances bailable warrants to the tune of Rs 10,000 shall be issued to secure the presence of respondent. JNF
