Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 14: KC public school, which represented J&K state, created history by winning the North Zone Polly Umrigar Trophy (under-16) cricket tournament for the first time, organized by BCCI at Dharamshalla, (Himachal Pradesh). A team of 16 members of KC public school headed by Hisham Saleem, defeated Haryana in the inaugural match by 56 runs and Delhi by 60 runs respectively and also defeated Himachal Pradesh by 47 runs and Punjab by 11 runs thus winning all the four matches of the tournament from winning side are Vaibhav Garg, Shubham Khajuria and Manik in batting and Moosa Saleem, Tapan Khosa and Hisham Saleem proved their worth in bowling. While Ravi Sharma was the coach of the team. Union Minster for renewable energy sources and president of JKCA Dr. Farooq Abdullah congratulated the cricket team of KC public school for their excellent performance in a special function organized by J&K cricket association.
