PDP demands registration of murder case against accused in ‘Rajneesh case’

The senior Leaders of PDP Rafiq Hussain Khan, MLA Mendhar and A K Sawhney Advocate- Spokesman of the Party and H R Chargotra Chairman SC/BC cell PDP today visited the families of Rajneesh who was killed in the Police custody of Ram Munshi Bagh Police station and the family of Late Maj Akash, who sacrificed his life in Mendhar sector.
While consoling the family of Rajneesh, the PDP leaders expressed deep concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in the state of J&K and said that there is no name of accountability of Police and administration. The leaders also extended condolences on behalf of the party patron Mufti Mohd Sayeed and President Ms Mehbooba Mufti to the bereaved family.
Spokesman of the party A K Sawhney strongly flayed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his coterie for a criminal silence over the issue of custodial killing and one can well imagine that how the Police and other agencies in the present coalition Govt of NC- Congress are behaving ruthlessly without caring for the life and liberty of the people of the state. He described it as a worst of Human Rights violation and violation of the Supreme Court Judgment delivered in D K Basu's case and demanded immediate registration of the an FIR under section 302 RPC for murder of Rajneesh and all involved accused to be booked in the said case.
Thereafter the PDP leaders also visited the family of the Late Maj Akash Singh, who sacrificed his life while fighting against the terrorists in Mendhar sector and expressed their grief and condolences on behalf of the PDP.
