| CCI (J&K) to observe World Food Day today | | |

Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) J & K State Council is going to organize an activity to mark the ‘World Food Day’ which falls today every year on 16th October and is observed around the world to increase awarness, and encourage action against hunger. Spokesperson of CCI (J&K) stated that in this connection the CII J&K State Council have has planned to celebrate World Food day by distributing Rice, Flour, Edible oil, Biscuits, Milk, etc amongst the underprivileged children of Orphanage Shri Ved Mandir Bal Niketan Jammu. ‘And the Minister for Industries & Commerce S S Slathia has consented for attending the occasion as “Chief Guest” on Friday, 16th October 2009, at Shri Ved Mandir Bal Niketan, Amphalla Jammu from 1530hrs -1630 hrs.
