| NC-Cong coalition fails on all fronts, alleges PDP | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct15- Exhorting the workers to take message of PDP at grass root level, general secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Balbir Singh today said that that 10 months performance of this new dispensation was a clear indication that Congress-National Conference has failed on all fronts. Addressing a function to start membership drive for Jammu West zone, he said functioning of this dispensation was appearing only on papers and at grassroots level not even a single promise has been implemented so far’. He reminded the party workers that that during campaign of the assembly elections, National Conference had made a number of promises with the people but these promises are yet not translated into reality. He exhorted the workers to expose this government before the common masses while conducting membership in their respective areas. “As the main opposition party we have to play our role”, he said and asserted “we will not remain a mute spectator to the misdeeds of the government”. Speaking on the occasion, senior party leader Daman Bhasin called upon the party workers to prepare themselves for the forthcoming civic elections. “We will expose misdeeds of this government before the masses”, he said and pointed out that PDP has enough strengthen in the assembly to keep a check on the anti-people steps of the government”. Former Minister and senior leader Rangil Singh reminded that NC had promised stipend to educated unemployed youth, subsidized ration etc and regretted that all these promises remained only on papers”. District president R K Bali, Raj Kumar and Susheela Jamwal also spoke on the occasion.
