| PDP Gandhi Nagar zone starts membership drive | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct16- In connection with the on-going membership drive, a meeting of the Gandhi Nagar zone of Peoples Democratic Party was held under the chairmanship of Thakur Balbir Singh, general secretary of the party. Former Minister Rangil Singh, Sayeed Asgar Ali, MLC, Falail Singh, Surjeet Kour and other senior leaders of the party were present in the meeting in which threadbare discussions were held on various issues pertaining to spreading message of the party at grass root level. Addressing the meeting, Balbir Singh called upon the party workers to take up message of the party to every sections of the society to make PDP a vibrant political force in Jammu region. He said that in the Assembly election PDP has emerged as a biggest political force in the State and it was duty of the party workers to further expand base of the party in different region. Rangil Singh while addressing the meeting asked the party workers to aggressively launch membership drive and approach every section of the society. He said that while enrolling new members, party workers should also have to educate the masses about anti-people policies being adopted by the coalition regime.District president Jammu urban R K Bali, Susheela Jamwal, B Billowaria, zone president, Dicky and other leaders of the party also spoke on the occasion
