| LJSP demands CBI probe in Rajneesh’s killing | | |

Jammu, Oct 18: Working president of Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) Sanjeev Manmotra have demanded that all those police officers and other involved in killing of Rajneesh Sharma during the police custody be brought to book immediately.
Addressing the party workers he described killing Rajneesh as heinous crime and most unfortunate beside an act of human right violation. He on the occasion expresses heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family members and the widow. Leaders on the occasion also paid homage to the student martyrs of 1966 on the 43rd anniversary and reminded the people of Jammu that NC, PDP and Congress has always discriminated with this region. They only give hollow statements and nothing else. They demanded constitution of delimitation commission in the state for equal treatment in all fields.
Party spokesman, KK Rao urged the government that some minister attend their own constituencies in maximum time. The minister should also come out of their respective constituencies and pay attention to other constituencies of the state because they are the ministers of the state and not of their own constituency. They also appealed to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah that all the contesting candidates of the constituencies he also invited in district development board meetings for justice and equal distribution of funds in the whole constituency. The meeting was attended by Sudesh Puri, gen Om Raj, MR Puri, Madan Gopal, Ramesh Lal, Sanjay Kumar, Subash Baba, Veena Chowdary.
