If you have no enemy create one. The enemy you create should be stronger than you. This is what the Pakistan has been doing all through with the help of the USA & Co. It has created an enemy much stronger than it is. Its agenda has been to keep India on the burning coil. The Terror Demon Osama Bin Laden is its creation. In Kashmiri we say anim suoi, wavim suoi, lagim suoi pansie (I got the nettles, planted, nurtured and am the victim now.). He is graduate of Riyadh University’s Management and Economics Department. His product is war that USA & Co with the help of Pakistan prompted him to manufacture.
Osama Bin laden left Saudi Arabia to fight against the erstwhile Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) in 1979 at the insistence of the CIA. The USA & CO at that time had the same goals as Osama’s Mujahidin—the ouster of the USSR troops from Afghanistan. In what was hailed at the time as one of the most successful covert operations, the USA Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) launched a 500 million dollar – per-year campaign to arm and train the impoverished and outgunned mujahidin guerrillas to fight the USSR.
In the mid 1980s he co- founded the Maktab al Khidmat (MAK) or Service office, to help funnel fighters and money to the Afghan resistance in Peshawar with a Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood member named Abdallah Azzam. The MAK ultimately established recruitment centres around the world—including in the USA, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan--- that enlisted, sheltered, and transported thousands of individuals from over 50 countries to Afghanistan to fight the USSR troops .It also organised and funded paramilitary training equipment to cut roads and tunnels and to build hospitals and storage depots in Afghanistan.
Osama split from Azzam in the late 1980s to extend his campaign to all corners of the globe; Azzam remained focussed only on support to Muslims waging military campaigns. Osama formed a new Organisation in 1988 called al-Qaida –the military” base”. After Azzam was killed by a car bomb in late 1989, the MAK split, with the extremist faction joining Osama’s organisation. After the Afghan War ended Osama’s Organization tuned the barrel of its gun towards what he calls them in the Islamic terminology “the Infidels” which includes the Christians, the Jews, the Buddhists, the Hindus and the Sikhs. Osama says: “Unite all Muslims and establish a government which follows the rule of the Caliphs.” Osama has left no secret in stating: “The only way to establish the Caliphate is by force and thereby abolishing state boundaries.”
The USA & CO theory that Osama had appeared on the terror canvas during the Gulf War of 1990-91 is all incorrect. In 1980s he was deputed by the CIA to Afghanistan to finance and oversee the resistance to the USSR troops. He was baptised as a theocratic-terrorist by the USA & CO under the very nose of every nation of the world. The modern Jehadi-Islam is a by-product of the intrigues of the USA & CO to keep the Islamic world under it suzerainty, devoid of any kind of democratic processes. TheUSA & Co also wanted to use the Jehadi-Islam as a whipping boy whenever the need arose to divert the attention of the world from issues raised by the anti-globalization campaigners. Here to quote the Press Statement of September 14, 2001 after the 9/11 episode of The Revolutionary Association of the women of Afghanistan which has a long tradition of opposing the Taliban regime and paying for it with blood. The statement said: “We condemn the terrorist attack on the two cities of the USA which has stirred the conscience of the world. The people of Afghanistan have nothing to do with Osama and his accomplices. But unfortunately we must say that it was the government of the the USA &CO who supported Pakistani dictator Gen. Zia-ul-Haq in creating thousands of religious schools from which the germs of Taliban emerged. In the similar way, as is clear to all, Osama has been the blue-eyed baby of the CIA.”
It is very much on record that in 1986, the CIA Chief William Casey had stepped up war against the USSR by taking three significant, but at that time highly secret measures. He had persuaded the US Congress to provide the Mujahidin with US made stinger anti-aircraft missiles to shoot down USSR aircraft and provide USA advisers to train the guerrillas. The CIA, Britain’s M16 and the Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agreed on a provocative plan to launch guerrilla attacks into Soviet Republics of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the soft underbelly of the USSR from where the Soviet troops in Afghanistan received their supplies. William Casey was all satisfaction with the news, on his next trip, secret of course, to Pakistan. He crossed the border into Afghanistan with President Gen. Zia-ul-Haq to take stock of the Mujahidin groups. William Casey was forthright in pledging his support to recruit radical Muslims from around the world to come to Pakistan and fight with the Afghan Mujahidin. The USA wanted to convey the message to the world that the entire Muslim World was fighting the USSR alongside the Afghans and their American friends.
The otherwise harmless Madrassas were turned into factories for breeding religious guerrillas between 1982 and 1992. It is on record that some 35,000 Muslim radicals from 43 Islamic countries in the Middle East, North and East Africa, Central Asia and the Far East had their baptism under Fire with the Afghan Mujahidin. Tens of thousands more foreign Muslim radicals came to study in the hundreds of new madrassas that Zia’s military regime began to fund in Pakistan and along the Afghan border. He had the blessings of the USA in this plan. As a result of this, more than 100,000 Muslim radicals were to have direct contact with Pakistan and Afghanistan and be influenced by the Jihad.
These radical groups had their interaction with each other for the first time in these camps which were set up for them near Peshawar. Here they studied together, trained together and then also fought together. It is here that they were acquainted with the Islamic movements in other countries. Camps like this actually became virtual universities for future Islamic radicalism.

The Pakistan Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) had long desired Prince Turki Bin Faisal, the head of Saudi Arabian Intelligence service, the Istakhbarat ,to lead the Saudi contingent in order to demonstrate to the entire Muslim World the commitment of the Royal Family to the Jihad. Only poor Saudis, students, taxi drivers and Bedouin tribesmen had so far arrived to fight. But quite conspicuously, a Saudi Prince given to all sorts of luxuries would not be ready to be in the arid and barren Afghan mountains. The choice fell on Osama Bin Laden, though not a Royal yet very close to the Royals. His family gave a cheerful nod to the proposal and he travelled to Peshawar in 1980 and met the Mujahidin leaders. He plied between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to bring with him the Saudi donations to sustain the Mujahidin until 1982 when he decided to settle at Peshawar. In 1986, he helped build a tunnel complex, which the CIA was funding as a major arms storage depot, training facility and medical centre for the Mujahidin, deep under the mountains close to the Pakistan border.
The claim of the CIA that the USA had no contact with Osama cannot be purchased by thinking minds. Is it not a fact that just a few weeks before the US Embassy bombarding in Africa, the Saudi conundrum was even worse? In July 1998 Prince Turki had visited Khandhar and a few weeks’ later 400 new pick-up trucks arrived in Kandahar for the Taliban, still bearing their Dubai license plates.
The United States of America & Co should, therefore, own the responsibility of sending the world into chaotic conditions because of the Al Qaida. Pakistan is equally responsible.
