| Jan urges govt. to supply uninterrupted power in Ramadan | | |

Member Legislative Assembly Pooch Ghulam Mohammad Jan has stressed upon the state govt. to provide kerosene oil, uninterrupted electricity and water supply in the district during the month of holy Ramadan. He said there is acute shortage of drinking water and essential commodities in the area and the position of electricity is erratic which is causing inconvenience to the people in the month of holy Ramadan.
In a statement Jan has demanded immediate supply of kerosene oil, uninterrupted electricity and drinking water.
He also expressed his concern over the victims in disbursement of second installment of relief to earthquake an have demanded that relief should be provided to the victims on priority keeping in view the holy months of Ramadan and ensuring winter session.
