| SRTC employees file petition against MD | | |
JAMMU OCT-2- The Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation Karamchari Union has filed a writ petition in Jammu High Court against Managing Director of the Corporation for his failure in depositing CF Fund from the management in the employees’ accounts.
The Union in a handout has claimed that the Court has directed the MD, Financial Advisor, Divisional Accounts Officer and General Manager Operations to file their objections by October 23.
The Union has alleged that Corporation owes nearly Rs. eight crore to about 1300 employees working in the Corporation on account of CP fund contribution from the management and said that the Union has been continuously pursing the case with the Deputy Provident Fund Commissioner since last two years but of no avail. After having failed to get justice from the administration, the Union was forced to go to the court of law for justice, the hand out added.
