| JKHRW alleges bungling in BPL ration | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 19- Jammu and Kashmir Human Rights Watch (JKHRW) today alleged that the corruption has swallowed the justice from all corners of the society as a result of which the general public was facing hardships and difficulties. Addressing media persons here today, B L Kapoor, chairman, JKHRW alleged gross bungling and misappropriation in BPL ration , NREGA and other central and state sponsored schemes in Rajouri, and Poonch districts. He revealed that the BPL Ration is not distributed to the deserving and instead issued to only those who are favourite to the concerned. He added that NREGA scheme is also misused for vested interests, the people of border district Rajouri and Poonch has also been the victim of draught as their crops have been totally destroyed and are facing starvation like situation . Kapoor said that Human Right Watch activist was murdered in Poonch and the culprits have not been arrested till date. He appealed the Chief Minister to personally intervene and get the loss assessed.
